Indications:

• Mucocele
• Chronic sinusitis

• Mucocele cavity opened
• A large drainage aperture is created with rongeur or drill.

Keep in Mind/Things to Remember:

• Mucocele recurrence rates can be high if drainage opening is too small/very small.
• Removal of complete mucocele lining is not necessary.
