Indications:

• Mucocele of fronto-ethmoid region with orbital displacement.

Highlights:

• Large opening made into mucocele
• Pus and mucous removed and orbit decompressed

Keep in Mind/Things to Remember:

• Drainage pathway must be large enough that reaccumulation of mucous does not occur.
• Not necessary to remove entirety of mucosal lining
