  • Persistent hypertrophy of inferior turbinate mucosa

 

Highlights:

  • Stab incision at anterior aspect of turbinate
  • Mucosa elevated off turbinate bone
  • Submucosa removed with microdebrider leaving overlying thin mucosal layer intact

 

Keep in Mind:

  • Can be combined with out-fracture of turbinate bone
